Tanzania Oribi Safari Booking Policies

Deposits

A deposit for $1000 per person (plus $1500 per person for the non-refundable gorilla permit, if taking the optional extension to Rwanda), is due at the time of your reservation/booking. This deposit is refundable up to 90 days prior to departure less an administrative charge of $200 per person. Credit cards are not accepted for deposits or final payments. Personal checks or money orders are accepted for deposits.

Payments

On receipt of your reservation and deposit you will be invoiced and payment is due in full 90 days prior to your departure. Payment is accepted as follows:

Wire transfer to our account in Arusha, Tanzania
Money order

Cancellation and Refunds

All cancellations must be received in writing or by email and are effective upon receipt in our office. Cancellations received up to 90 days prior to departure, will be refunded all monies less an administrative charge of $200 per person. Cancellations between 90 and 60 days prior to departure are assessed a penalty of 50% of the safari cost. Cancellations between 60 and 0 days prior to departure are assessed a penalty of 100% of the safari cost. Any refund due can take up to 8 weeks to process and be refunded to you.

Tanzania Oribi Safari is not responsible for expenses incurred by guests in preparing for the trip (e.g. visa fees, immunizations, insurance, equipment, etc.) or for any necessary additional travel arrangements should you embark from home before the group departure date. Accommodations are subject to change.
